So..
I just read they will be on their way starting in a week well at least according to MSNBC.
So I got thinking about what I want to do with my money.
I orginally was going to get screwed over for some visits to the hospital, but then recieved a leter the other day saying my insurance decided to cover it all but $180?
So.. Contrary to believe this is amazing haha.
I was worried I would be a little shy on the bank account for a while but not anymore so this means my economic stimulous package actually goes towards fun stuff!
Now orginally I was going to invest the money..
but then I got thinking, I have plenty in the stock market.
Well I don't.. but I got plans for stock stuff later and I didn't need the money from this so I want to actually use it like play money you know? Do what they want us to do with the money and not spend it on gas!
And no I am not rich I just have stuff saved and planned for. I am a business major remember this!
So I got thinking, update my bike? Sure.
Update my clothes? Sure
but what else?
The bike stuff may only be $150-$300.. clothes maybe $100..
If I understand since I am independant and not married I could get $600.
So if thats the case what could I do with the money.
none of it is going towards gas.
NONE OF IT.
I just know that my money is going back into the economy, that isn't oil related.
So what else could I do?
Oh, I could take some lucky girl out on a date? If you know of any let me know? haha
I mean this is what is weird, I have never been one to go and over do it, I am a saver, I am one to plan my future.
So I have never actually had "money to blow".
Maybe I will end up putting it into the stock market, buy $200 worth of shares from some new company at like $2 a share.. let it get up to $5 dollars a share.. and sell it.. that would be $300 more dollars to play with making $500 left haha.
I don't know.. I do know that I want to do something fun. Maybe I will update when I know what I want!

E-mail that caught me off gaurd
Dear Kurt,
Hello my name is Kim and I am a teacher at a childcare center in Rochester. I have 50 children ranging in age for 5-12 years old and different kids every day. I am planning this summer and I like to try to get special visitors to come in. I was wondering if you or anyone you know would be willing to come in and talk to the children about BMX like about the sport, how you learn to do tricks, practice, ect. I don’t have any dates in mind yet but I was just seeing if you or anyone you know would be interested in coming? If you could get back to me that would be great. Any questions please e-mail me at -
Thank you,
Kim
So, here I am.. staring at this e-mail asking myself, have a reached a point where my actions can change lives?
Have I reached a point where people find the things I do intreguing enough that they want me to explain and try and get more involved?
So obviously, I responded to this E-mail with a very postive yes. There is nothing more that I would love to do for those kids than teach them my life.
Except, as I laid there in my bed after reading that I got thinking about this, what else can I do that will leave an impact on these kids and help them make good decisions?
Well obviously I am going to tell them about BMX, and how I got into it and the different things I do with it. The safety things they should do like always wear a helmet and know your surroundings... But then there are these other things, like my choices in life, like for example, drugs and school. I have never done a drug in my life and I never plan to. I want to be able to show kids that without it they are capable of doing anything they could ever imagine. I want them to know that if anything they will appreciate having school in their lives more than anything once they are done with high school. I want them to be able to take lessons I have learned like wear a helmet because you never know when you will find yourself laying on the ground asking yourself how you got here and what went wrong and what was I doing to have this go wrong. I want them to know that just because they aren't good at basketball, or football, that they can be good at something. Nobody is the same person, nobody is perfect.
I want them to know that no matter what they will be capable of being whatever there dreams are and to not give up, because if there is a will there is a way.
I want a kid to be able to think back someday and say "that dude really knew what was up and he taught me something important"...
I cannot wait for this.

Time Flys When Your Having Fun
The saying "time flys when your having fun" is an awkward but true statement. I mean basically you never want a good time to end, but it seems to come too soon when you don't. But now I am starting to see that as you get older time goes faster. Is it because I am having fun? I don't know; I don't really party anymore, I just kind of go to school, work, do work on my other site, and ride bike. It is weird but I feel like I have slipped into my old ways.
Basically after I get screwed over, I figure I would protect myself from letting myself get let down by eliminating the dependence on somebody else. Which I mean in all actuality I think it is a good method just because I know I can always count on myself, and if I let myself down there is probably a problem right?
It just so happens I do this a lot, I shut out people and do my own thing and more than less I end up with my ipod on and me not listening to anything but music.
You would be shocked but I actually charge my ipod more than once a week, that is a lot of time listening to music.
When I am on my bike everything outside of me and my bike and whatever is in a closer proximity of the area such as a few friends who are on their bikes to go away and I don't think I just do. I love the feeling of going fast and just flying over something or just doing different things trick wise. I think it is my absolute best stress reliever. I think everyone should know their stress reliever and I know physical activity is good stuff.
So that is where my time goes. I do all this stuff and keep myself busy and neglect a lot of things which is sad.. But this last year has gone by SO fast. Seriously, It went from August 27th which was my first day of class to April 24th in a blink of an eye and I don't even know how I could sum up my experiences.
But that is growing up? You start moving away from dependence on all these things and just become so independant that eventually all you need is yourself for entertainment. Maybe that is why time goes by so quickly? I have learned to just depend on myself and make things happen and not just wait.
There are things I want to accomplish someday. I just need to let everything fall into place first you know? I questioned how much I need college the other day, I mean I know I could get shit done without it, but then I thought what happens if something happens? I wouldn't have that degree there to get me into a position to recover. So I am going to do the whole 4 year degree thing and hope for the best.
I just know that if this year went by as fast as the next 3 do I will be happy, and ready to DO WORK! but on my own terms, none of this taking orders from somebody who takes orders from somebody hundreds of miles away.

War on America
So, today I got thinking while at work, I tend to do that when I get bored...
And the question that popped into my head was "what if there was a war on America"... like a war in American grounds.
What do you think would happen?
Well, here is my theory.
Americans love weapons, they love knives, guns, explosives, all sorts of stuff that goes boom or causes death. So that leads me to think about the fact that over 60% of American's have a form of a weapon in their home, and probably 90% or more have access to some sort of weapon if they needed it for some reason like hunting or something.
So what happens if we get attacked? I mean something like Normandy where they are storming our beaches and coasts of our country. I mean really trying to invade America. Now, logistically I doubt this would ever happen, but just play along with me here.
If you recall the American Revolution, those farmers and everyday people dug in and really did some damage to the British etc. (I think that is right?) They banded together and made calveries and all that good stuff, and apparently succeeded right?
Now fast forward a few hundred years and think about an attack on our home country, I mean yeah 9/11 happended but that was a coward thing to do, a hit and run(well die) sort of situation then the masterminds hide thousands of miles away in a desert in a foreign country. I mean look what happended when the Japanesse bombed Pearl Harbor, they flew away fast and then in turn got violated.
So there is a millitary (or terrorists if they had that kind of balls), or multiple countries... Now this isn't possible, esspecailly because the millitary support we would recieve but if there was this call for duty type situation how far do you think this attack would go?
I mean, think about it, Americans would probably ban together as this ginormous country millitary and do things on their own. People would pull out their hunting guns, knives, all sorts of hidden illegally owned weapons.. And they would destroy these millitary attacks I bet. I think it wouldn't get much further than the beaches if we had a fair warning.
Now I don't know why I got thinking about this, but it is a cool idea to think of that our country would be powerful enough to violate the hell out of an attack.
I know this is not going to happen, but WHATEVER this is a random blog for a reason!

Inspired
Why am I inspired? well right now I just had this urge to write on this damn blog that probably nobody has seen?
I don't know. I don't care =)
Life has it's way of being very confusing. I mean everyday is different, and if you don't stay on your game you will end up falling behind. I realized that and I am realizing that it sucks how fast paced this world is.
News goes as fast as it comes. The second it happens, every where you look they talk about it. Then the next day it is something else and the day before is forgotten.
Back in the day historians really probably don't have much of a problem going through all the recorded information. I mean there was only so much right?
Imagine in a few years, well like 50ish? When historians or whatever start looking at our time. Imagine how pissed they will be, going through hundreds of thousands of pages of information to find out what happend on a single day. I mean even by then the information will go even faster, people probably won't even remember what the hell happend in the morning because how fast things will be brought up.
It is the same way with life. I go day to day, and slowly just pile up more and more to cover the past. The cuts and scrapes get covered and healed, I forget about the things that bother me and I don't look back. Which probably isn't good, I imagine I have lost contact with way too many people this way. I don't even know what happens next. This is a scary though that inspired me to write.
I think it will be interesting in a few months to look at all these posts I make and try and remember exactly what I was thinking and why.
Have you ever done that?

The Meet New Girls Game
So, bright and early, well not bright and not really early. It looks like rain and it's almost 11 haha.
So I am not too sure where this is going, so I am sorry if this one ends up pointless.
Sometimes I think a lot, and sometimes I don't think so much.
So here it goes I got an idea.
The GAME...
I don't really have a REAL name for it, besides it's amazing way to meet new girls.
I don't really know how well this works in other situations, but okay here is how this works.
At my college, there is a place called the atrium, it is a place to just hang out and get stuff done for people between classes, I can usually be found there talking to friends and stuff between classes, I like that spot a lot.
However, when I first got to the school I knew little to nobody, and I was single.
well, I am single again.
But basically the point of the game is to meet new girls.
I have learned that people are ALWAYS willing to meet new people, as long as they are not threatning. So, one day my buddy dares me that I cannot talk to this one girl we see everyday. Oh but he was wrong, I am the most out going person in the world.
So I yell "HEY PINK BACK PACK!" ... of course she stops, turns around, and looks. I wave.. and say "Random question"...
So she comes over, and I jokingly say "so I have been seeing you all over this place and I am sick of not knowing who you are!" and then it went from there, we talked, and we still talk today which is cool. It is even funnier when later in the day I check facebook and the person you meet adds you haha.
So that was the start to something great... I mean don't get me wrong, I am no player, I am no whore. I never have cheated on a girl, nor have I ever planned to hurt a girl. So I obviously stop playing this if I am dating a girl.
But since then I have met a lot of girls.
When I say a lot, I want to say at least 15.
I stopped playing for a little over a month when I was seeing this girl I really liked a lot. After some complications, that ended, and I was bummed for a few days, but then my buddies dared me to do the game. I was hessitant.
But I mean you know me, of course I did.
I winged it.
met one.
then the next day I played.
met another.
Then the 3rd day.
I met another.
3 in 3 days.
I am BACK! haha, not really, I actually feel bad when I play this like I am a whore or something I don't know?
I mean sure I should have been more bummed about the girl leaving me and I shouldn't be throwing myself out there...
BUT IT'S THE ADOREXIA haha, I am not phased I sware.
So that is my life of the game, it is a sweet game, I hope more GOOD guys or even girls start playing to meet new people, I just hope players and dirty dirties don't try this and use it because they are already making guys look bad, why ruin my harmless game?
I think this is it. Enjoy

50000 hits and 10 things I have learned along the way
So.. not this blog.. but my real blog, my main one.. today.. about an hour ago hit 50,000 visitors..
So. What have I learned about making a website?
1. Find sites that are super sucessful in your same market, and make friends with them. If your doing something right, they will be there to throw you some visitors, in my case I ended up making 3-4 friends who all run different really sucessful websites and they all like helping me out I guess. This is seriously the biggest tip I can give you, if you really want to be established as a website that is.
Sure, theres always going to be haters that will talk bad about you or your website, thats when you think "THIS IS THE INTERNET IT'S SERIOUS BIZNAZ!".. no it's not. The internet just so happens to have a way of connecting a lot of people and it should be fun to see if people care what you say. I mean look at this blog, NOTHIN.. ZIP.. NADDA.. the hits aren't there, shit google hasn't even went through this blog in almost 2 months, not indexed, nothing.. But then you look at my other website, google sends spiders like everyday!
2. 50,000 visitors have taught me marketing. I knew little to nothing about how to market a website, well okay I lied. I have had MANY websites in my day, all very small scale and local, if you want to do something big you gotta at least make it seem world wide so people will say okay I can relate to this or this is a big deal to me. There is SOO many FREE ways to make a website work. Videos-Google, Youtube, Vimeo. Photos- Photobucket, image shack. BLOG-BLOGGER, Wordpress.
Okay, so look at that, You can type content for free, make videos with your blog/website name on it, post photos with your website in the photo.. ALL FREE! Sure a domain name costs a whole $9 on Go Daddy for you to buy.. but if you pick a good one that could be key for people to remember it. $9 is all I have paid for my actual working site, through adsense I have made that back already. So sure, there is easy ways to get tons of hits, get tons of stats, whatever, "just pay $29.99 and you will be at the top of search engies" .. I have no idea if that actually works, I just don't care to waste my money finding out. 50,000 visitors may take you 7 months to get, maybe it will take you 2 months, shit it's possible in less than a week I am sure. BUT THINK ABOUT IT, use forums, use all the free things that the internet provides and you can promote just as well as the fools who pay tons of money.
3. When I first started out I was reading up on all the blogs, and sites that had any information on how to get visitors. Somebody told me once "it takes time, but after a while you will see your stats grow"... I kind of didn't believe it.. but now I look back and realize yeah it is just a work in progress. Over time the information you produce will be stored in search engines.. the more you produce THE MORE you will show up in search results. I won't lie, I started at like 0 visits from search engines the first few months.. now I average anywhere between 30 and 50 visitors a day from search engines, but 2 months ago I averaged 10-20.. so think about that. So DON'T GIVE UP if you don't see stats right away. It takes time, keep doing your thing.
4. I am just learning this... I am sure if you read around you will see this a bit and say "why?"... BE CONTRAVERSIAL! holy crap, I get a good laugh pissing people off. I posted an interview with a guy who either you hate, or you love. Seeing all the comments on all the sites linking to mine with people saying "THAT GUY IS SUCH A WASTE" or "THAT GUY IS HALARIOUS".. it is all worth it because then you get people talking about it, arguing, causing them to think more and more about what you have done. This is something I have learned and am learning to love. It sucks at first because you think "I don't want people mad at what I do, or hate me"... Now, I look at it like this, either you will like what I do, or you will hate it.. the comments that people will annonymously talk bad about me is the BEST feeling in the world! haha I LOVE IT.. because I know what I have done has impacted somebody enough to say something bad about me. It is 100 times easier to say something nice about somebody than it is to say something bad.
5. Consistancy.. DO SOMETHING NOBODY ELSE IS DOING TOO!.. I do interviews with pro bmx riders, I do A LOT of them. Lets just put it this way, in 7 months I have done nearly 60 interviews haha. How does a magazine keep up with that? how does another website that has a bunch of other content to dig up and produce keep up? They can't, they are forced to link to my site because of it. Because I do something consistantly and what nobody else can actually do to keep up with. And after all this time, it is more rewarding to hear the people I ask if I can interview say "Dude that would be cool I have been digging your website lately". It means something is going on great. 50,000 visitors later that is. So keep up whatever your doing it might just catch on.
6. People assume that if they start a blog it will just automatically be a huge success. Well if it is, thats great I am stoked for you. If it isn't the people who were just looking for a quick buck will fade out and sure enough these sites just sit, wasting space. Don't think googles adsense will make you money. To be honest, I haven't even made $100 off of it, that is the minimum before they will actually send you a check. I am close, but it wasn't until I was getting a few hundred-to a few thousand hits a day before it actually added up to anything. So worry about getting your site off the ground before you worry about money. I mean if you follow step 2 or whatever your not losing any money really in the process right?
7. Contributors. Find people your stoked on ,who are stoked on what your doing. Find people who make waves, who people respect, who people WANT stuff from. I am lucky enough to ahve one of my contributors be in contact with TONS of people because of his real job, he has respect, he has a lot of peoples attention, so if he posts stuff it is great. I have another guy who just his personality has made him a big deal, he has a positive attitude and has pulled together a team and company that is successful just because the image they give off, he has a lot of cool stuff to say and people listen and get excited about it. So don't be afraid to get contributors. If the site picks up and you actually make money off of it, send them a little of the cash their way, I mean without them the success might not happen right?
8. Try new things from time to time, see how it goes, if it flops, well no problem you just don't do it again. If it goes well, try it again and again, maybe that will be a reason people will come back to your website right? Don't copy other websites though, I mean think about it you have a friend who runs another site that links to yours, but then you go and steal what they do and then guess what, your contact is now eyeing you as they update their shit list. Creativity is hard, but sometimes thats what is best, you cannot copywrite an idea on the internet, if you post it, it's fair game.. So do this, go to sites that have NO relevance to yours and get ideas, alter it to fit your site or topic. Could be worth while.
9. Pingers. Pingers. Pingers. Pingers. everytime I post something I have a thing on my favorites I go to... www.pinger.blogflux.com... I go there and it sends a ping to a whole list of websites saying "hey come look at my site it's updated"... now this isn't going to do A LOT for your site since theres millions of blogs and millions of people pinging away, but in the long run it works out to help you eventually in one way or another. PLUS IT'S FREE!.. Maybe 5 out of 50,000 visitors were from there, but thats 5 FREE visitors. F- these "only $29.99" shit.. SORRY FOR THE SWARE WORDS BUT HONESTLY DON'T BE STUPID!
10. ENGLISH... So you grow up dreading writing in school. F this paper, F this journal.. F-edy F F F.. But then you want to start a blog. High five, but heres the most embarassing thing you can do. SUCK AT SPELLING. I mean okay, I am not the best speller ever, nor do I put commas and everything in the right place or even need it half the time. But there is no room for this "OMG WTF" ackranym (sp?) crap. Be straight up and type it legit in its fullest extent. I didn't worry about writing when I first started my site, people laughed at me. I quickly realized if you want to be taken seriously theres no F-ing around! haha. I get annoyed when people spell bad now, it sucks but seriously the world is a better place when you spell right. 50,000 visitors and I would be embarassed to write like a complete idiot.
So there is 10 things that I have learned in the 50,000 visits I got to my other site haha. Maybe someday this website will actually turn legit and people will read it, but maybe this is my own personal blog. Maybe when I hit 100,000 visitors I will have a whole new perspective on how things are done, but right now thats 10 things I have learned that will allow you to get a ton of visitors FOR FREE, and how to do it right.. HOLLA!
